Default PVE /report option

in RA and AB u can /report yr teammates for leeching and etc...
result --> a Gaile Frog Hex aka dishonor for xx minutes (the icon just looks like a frog imo xD)

but in pve u cant report for leeching right? and that damn leecher is everywhere :/

so my sugestion... if possible, can anet make another command to kick someone in explorable/mission pve area?
if u have leecher on your party,
- Leader of the party (player #1) can kick him using /kick <name> (just like WoW maybe)

or another option

- all player can uz command type /vote kick <name>, and small window will popup for all partymember with option "YES" and "NO"... therefor need at least 50% of partymember to agree aka YES... so 2/4, 3/6, 4/8 and 6/12...

or

- any other sugestion?

ps1. my english is bad, my brain is sucks and my fingers are too small but i hope u understand hwat i want and hwat i mean xD
ps2. if its 2late for GW, maybe anet can use it on GW2 i dun mind
ps3. if already posted, /delete or /close this

-still QQin last UW run ><

It's been suggested, and most people were unsigned. It would be way too easy to abuse that sort of feature. Not to mention...a leecher in PvE doesn't actually mean anything. They are no use to you there, and no use to you out, so really there's not much point. You can report someone for verbal abuse etc already, so it's a totally unnecessary feature.

votekicking is a stupid feature that does more wrong than right. It gets abused to insane levels on FPS games, what makes you think it won't get abused here ?

It will probably not be started by "OMFG HAX0R !!!" rage like in FPS games, but it'll get abused not the less.

/unsigned for obvious reasons (i've been on the receiving end of votekicks and adminbans more than enough in my FPS days, though i never ever installed any 3rd party software or hack)

It does mean something when that person is getting a free mission run or vanquish off your team. With that said, I disagree with a kick function. Farming high-end PvE areas would be hell:

"Monster name here" drops a Glob of Ectoplasm which your party has reserved for "Non-party leader name here."

/kicknonpartyleader

"Party leader name here" picks up a Glob of Ectoplasm.

'Nuff said, /notsigned.

I'd rather have another category: EULA Violation, but that's another thread.

/notsigned

I'd rather not join a group of friends, get a valuable drop and get kicked because of it.

i did think of that...but with that sort of thing, you generally know that there's a leecher in the first 5 minutes and can all re-group leaving the leecher behind... You can't do that in PvP, but in PvE it's just not an issue. There is nothing that says you have to stay in the are a continue. If ther person stays behind not contributing after 5 kills, start again. Simple as that. It's just a different game dynamic that simply doesn't call for reporting a leecher. I understand it's annoying if they do it halfway through, but my experience with leechers is they tend to start leeching at the beginning rather than later on. And like i said, if you kick them your team is technically no worse off than if they just leech off you. Most of the point of HM is the drops...if they're leeching they're also not getting drops because they tend not to be moving.

The only way I'd sign this is if there was a buffer time of inactivity before the group could report a person inactive and if the # of players needed for a report is over 50%. Those would be two important safety nets to prevent abuse to this idea, which is still a great idea in essence.

Just leave and reform your party without the leecher, this is unecessary and could easily be abused.

I agree with the OP. I'd love to be able to do something about the leechers.

I made a similiar suggestion in Sardelac awhile back and the replies were mostly "signs". My original suggestion had flaws but if you take the time to read thru the entire thread (2 pages), the flaws were mostly worked thru.

http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10270706

No idea is perfect, but this one had the ability to stop leechers and it could not be easily abused which is why it was signed more than not-signed.

What? Do you want to give a /report option to a retarded crowd? Youre funny.
